Family Education & Wellness Program Series

After Hours Community Project’s Education & Wellness Programs are designed to meet working families where they are — offering learning, wellness, and connection during evening and after‑work hours. Our programs focus on strengthening families through education, wellness activities, and access to resources in a welcoming, inclusive, and judgment‑free environment.

Program Components

  • Family Education Workshops
Practical, culturally responsive sessions that support parents and caregivers with communication, child development, and family well-being.

  • Wellness Activities
Movement-based and discussion-based activities focused on stress reduction, healthy communication, and overall wellness.

  • Mommy & Me (Arts and Crafts)
Interactive arts and crafts sessions designed for caregivers and young children to build connection, creativity, and early learning skills.

  • Who we Serve & Get Involved

Our Education & Wellness Programs primarily serve working families in the Brownsville area, with a focus on underserved and diverse communities.
