After Hours Community Project creates educational and outreach opportunities that bring individuals, families, schools, and community organizations together. Through classes, youth development, community outreach, and hands on learning experiences, we help make education and meaningful community engagement more accessible.
Our programs are designed to meet people where they are, whether that means welcoming families into our programs or bringing After Hours directly into the community.

Family Engagement Nights
Family Engagement Nights bring families together once a month for an evening of learning, activities, games, and connection.
Each Family Engagement Night features an educational topic and hands on activity designed for the whole family. Families can learn together, enjoy snacks and games, and spend meaningful time connecting with one another in a welcoming environment.
Educational activities are developed around the eight categories of the 40 Developmental Assets, helping families explore the relationships, experiences, values, and skills that support healthy development and help children and young people thrive.

Outreach is about more than being present. It is about building relationships, listening to our community, and making sure families know where to turn when they need support.
After Hours connects with families and community members through local events, schools, community organizations, and partnerships. These opportunities allow us to share information, connect people with helpful resources, and build relationships that continue beyond a single event.
